If you’re in the mood for different or unique try Martine Café, located in Salt Lake City just outside of the City Creek Center. Martine Café is known for its tapas but if tapas aren’t different enough, they’ve created some unique taste sensations with their novel mix of ingredients. The menu shows their unique style of food and everything is served with artistic flair.
We ordered several tapas starting with Fried Brussels Sprouts—Pancetta that, to my delight, tasted nothing like brussels sprouts. We got Prosciutto Wrapped Quail—Pomegranate Jus and if you like dark meat poultry, you would love it. We also got Baby Spinach Salad—Roasted Apples—Candied Pecans—Goat Cheese—Apricot Cardamom Vinaigrette that was super good, delicious, extra yummy. Did I say it enough? Okay, I’ll say it again. It was fantastic, and my favorite!
While we waited for our tapas we munched on delicious House Marinated Olives that were waiting for us on the table when we sat down. It surprised me that the olives were a bit salty but that just made them finger liking good.
I will definitely go back to Martine Café. Maybe I’ll try one of their Grilled Salads for lunch. And no, that is not a typo, I do mean Grilled Salads.
